Hi! My name is Jessica Minkoff. I am currently a junior studying journalism and sociology at New York University.
You may recognize my name from another one of my blogs, TrendsforTous–a fashion blog devoted to up and coming trends in the world of clothing, accessories, and all that great stuff!
I will be studying “gen y” this semester. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this term, Generation Y is the term used to describe the generation following Generation X. Often referred to as “Millennials” or “Echo Boomers,” gen y’s birth dates range from the late 70s to the late 1990s. They are generally thought of as the offspring of the “Baby Boomers”.
Still an aspiring fashion journalist, I figured I would combine two of my passions; fashion and Gen Y. So for now, this page will be dedicated to GenYFashion and more specifically Gen Y’s influence on the ever-changing and always exciting fashion industry!
